From seemingly out of nowhere Sweden’s Love Is All seem to be everywhere – the covers of magazines, darlings of the internet & on the lips of die-hard music fans all over the world. Rather than being the result of a well co-ordinated press assault this thrillingly infectious outfit put it more down to luck, tho having some mighty fine tunes performed with breathless energy & unadulterated verve hasn’t hurt things either.

Formed out of the ashes of indie pop band Girlfrendo, Love Is All bypassed the usual approach dropping of dropping MP3s all over the internet, & instead made four 7″ singles, each lovingly hand screen printed, before even considering recording a full length album. Some of these singles made their way into the “right hands” & after an NME single of the week the band flew to London to record a legendary Peel Session. With a roll like this going on it was naturally time to make a record, Nine Times That Same Song , which has turned out to be a wonderful collision of sounds combining glorious indie rock with the raw sounds of Riot Grrrl & No Wave, all fuelled by retro saxophone licks.

With a live show that only builds upon the energy of their recordings, Love Is All will undoubtedly be one of the bands to catch this summer when they tour Australia for the first time.
