Australian Tour March 2008

We are pleased to announce the return of Sweden’s Jens Lekman.

After quickly selling out two solo shows earlier this month, Jens heads back to Australia to debut his six piece ensemble. The tour includes an appearance at Golden Plains Festival, as well as headline shows along the East Coast and Adelaide.In addition to the tour announcement, Jens also confirms his plans to become a more permanent resident of Melbourne, where he will return on the completion of his Australian, American and European tours.

The tour celebrates the release of the critically acclaimed second full length Night Falls Over Kortedala, out now through Spunk. Recorded over a three year period, the album largely describes life in Kortedala, a neighborhood in Jens hometown Gothenburg.

A charming storyteller and trully engaging performer, Jens and his band will bring his nostalgic pop gems to life across Australia this month. Show details below.
