• THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS

In celebration of their fifth album, “Together”, Canadian-US super-collective The New Pornographers are primed to make their return to Australia this November. As perfect a pop outfit as you’re ever likely to find, The New Pornographers have always dreamed of finding a middle ground between Led Zeppelin and The 5th Dimension, which as it turns out is actually quite a good way of describing their mix of deceptively complex songwriting combined with glimmering hooks and arena-like power.

  • INTERPOL

Interpol will release their fourth, self-titled, studio record on September 10th through their own newly formed label, Soft Limit, and will tour Australia in support of it over Summer.

  • JUNIP

The story that leads to Junip’s 2010 release is one of patience and perfectionism, frustration and persistence, sheer bloody-mindedness, inspiration and success. The place to which it takes you, however, is one of pastoral contemplation, autumnal grace and inscrutable, haunting serenity.

  • SHOUT OUT LOUDS

Swedish pop perfectionists Shout Out Louds are returning to Australia this summer in support of their wonderful new album “Work”. Equal parts joy and melancholy, all wrapped up in magnificent melodies, “Work” is the latest instalment in a superb body of infectious tunes, and stands tall alongside the band’s previous records, “Howl Howl Gaff Gaff” & “Our Ill Wills”.

  • FUTURE OF THE LEFT

The brutal and irreverent Future of the Left are back this Summer. Forming from the ashes of Welsh powerhouses Jarcrew and Mclusky, Future of the Left have truly forged an identity of their own through the release of 2007’s magnificently hostile Curses album, and the recently unleashed, equally intense Travels With Myself And Another.
