Sweden’s José González is certainly no stranger to these shores, having performed sell out tours in 2005 & 2006 off the back of his acclaimed Veneer album, a stunning collection of subdued acoustic folk music that spawned such radio favourites as Crosses & Heartbeats . With the release of his new album, In Our Nature , featuring the current single, * Down The Line* , a song that is already garnering a slew of airplay, José is returning to Australia for performances at the Falls & Southbound Festivals, & club shows in Brisbane , Sydney & Melbourne.

In Our Nature is sonically similar to the debut album, though it is also more open and more focused on melodies & really marks a performer who is quickly rising to the top of his game. González’s sensual and sensitive vocals blend with his gifted classical guitar style to recall underground folk favourites such as Nick Drake, Elliott Smith , Hayden, and Mark Kozelek, yet lose none of his own very distinct identity.
